Tolif earned a degree in Environmental Science and Policy at University of Wisconsin Green Bay. Prior to his arrival in Iowa, Tolif directed agriculture and conservation programs for a land trust in Pennsylvania. He now resides in Coon Rapids with his wife and 3 children.

A graduate from Drake University, Elizabeth earned her degree in Environmental Science and Biology. Originally from Iowa City, Iowa, she is the author of Hiking Iowa: A Guide to Iowa's Greatest Hiking Adventures (2005).

Originally from Delaware, Emily graduated from Albright College with a B.S. in Biology and Environmental Policy. She recently completed two years of Peace Corps service in Ghana, where she served as a natural resource manager.
Emily leads the communication and development planning for Whiterock Conservancy and also directs the fundraising efforts. If you would like more information on the organization, or are interested in making a donation or establishing a planned gift to WRC, please contact Emily.

After finishing his service with the Peace Corps as a community development specialist in the Central Asian country, Kyrgyzstan, Trent attended West Virginia University where he received a M.S. in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Resources with a focus on sustainable tourism and ecotourism. He and his wife are currently the joys and trials of being new parents of their first child.

Darwin is fifth generation to the Whiterock Valley and formally a WRC volunteer. Darwin's life and work experiences anchor many of WRC's applied land management activities.

Born and raised in Coon Rapids, Matt enjoys the outdoors. Having ample experience on the farm and operating machinery, Matt facilitates many of WRC's restoration projects through invasive species removal, prescribed burns, and trail maintenance.
