For real privacy on the edge of a gorgeous woodland, consider our Turkey Ridge Campsites.  On three separate ridgelines, each site is equipped with a picnic table, a fire ring and firewood.  The three campsites share a port-a-potty. The shower house, a water hydrant and a dumpster are available at the River House/Main Campground complex, about 1 mile away. The campsites lie about 1/2 mile off the nearest gravel road, on a sandy flat trail, and are accessible by vehicles.

Other Camping Options:

"Wilderness" Camping: For those willing to hike, the 4,300 acre Whiterock Valley includes numerous primitive sites ideal for wilderness camping.  Ask resort staff for recommendations on some gorgeous sites.

RV Park:  Carroll County Conservation Board maintains a campground on the northeast corner of Coon Rapids, which provides electric and water hookups for RV's.  Please call 712-792-4614 for more information.
